I was born and raised in the city of Atlanta. I pride myself in being from Atlanta. The rich diversity and culture of the city has helped influence who I am as a person today. I am loyal to my city but I also love to see other cultures and parts of the world.
I have been a competitive swimmer almost my entire life. Fitness is a passion of mine. I enjoy doing workouts that incorporate swimming, lifting, and running. In my free time, I compete in swim meets, 5k runs, rock climb and do yoga. I like setting goals for myself and challenging myself to reach them.
I was a lifeguard all throughout my time at school in both high school and college. Lifeguarding is the job that has taught me to take on larger leadership roles at work. At both Lifetime Fitness and the Auburn Recreation and Wellness Center, I received a promotion to Aquatics Supervisor
Every year, I try to take the time to volunteer. I believe that is it important to take the time to give back to the community you belong to. I have previously volunteered for the Georgia Rabbit House Society, CASA, and Food Bank of East Alabama Inc.
I am currently a senior at Auburn University majoring in public relations with a minor in Spanish.
I am a huge fan of staying up-to-date on what is happening in both the sports and entertainment world. Much of the news that goes on in these industries relates to public relations. I love viewing the new headlines on sports and celebrities from a public relations standpoint. My love for writing, sports media relations, event planning, and meeting new people led me to choose public relations as my major.
I am fluent in Spanish. I have studied Spanish since 7th grade. I have always found the culture and language to be a passion of mine to learn. I welcome the idea of working with clients and people who speak native Spanish.
I transferred from Kennesaw State after my freshmen year of college and have always been an Auburn Tiger ever since. The Auburn Family took me in from the day I stepped onto campus to visit. I will always cherish the memories, traditions, and friendships that I made in throughout my time in Auburn. I am looking forward to where life takes me next!
