This research project was conducted for Opelika Main Street, a nonprofit organization located in Opelika, Alabama. Opelika Main Street is dedicated to promoting and revitalizing the downtown Opelika area. One of their main goals is to add a male-focused store in the area to widen its target audience. My group and I conducted a media analysis and created a survey and used the results to gain an insight on what type of store would appeal to their male audience.
The media analysis included an overview of their current communication channels including traditional methods and social media. The media analysis also included a SWOT analysis. We recommended that they update some of their communication channels. We administer the survey for this research through Qualtrics via Opelika Main Street’s email listservs. After receiving the results of the survey, we presented our findings and recommendations via a full research report and in-person presentation to our client.
